(ENGLISH BELOVE).
– I morgen, kanskje.
Heldigvis, for dem er gjelder nok: My home is my castle!

DAY 9 – WEDNESDAY: NO ICING ON THE CAKE
Their day was a tad disappointing as regards to crevasses, but otherwise super. They had planned to slow down a bit today, but ended op on 34,6 kilometres and 1222 metres.
They scaled a very long brow today. It was tough, but with very good and hard conditions and only quite low sastrugi. The crevasse Eldorado they had expected did never happen. Only some beautiful ice formations and, something they defined as a ‘maybe’ crevasse with a rock solid bridge.
Not that they despaired, just that they looked forward to the entertainment and excitement of a crevasse spectacle. Some changes is good for concentration, the mind and breaking the monotony…
They have now covered some 297 kilometres in 9 days, that is as close to 33 km/day you can get, and quite a bit better than hoped for. They have also reached 1222 metres, and ironically it all adds up to being at Finse 1222. That is a great 100 years old hotel reached only by train in the middle of No(r)way.
They are also in the middle of Nowhere, but can’t be reached, while they have no hotel we are in no doubt their tent is their castle.
