DAY 11- THURSDAY: ADRENALINE STILL FLOWING
The perfect day, very kind sastrugi, good conditions and 35 kilometres further south!
After the excitement of yesterday they were treated to very good conditions today. Full of joy they walked a bit harder that planned, and promptly promised to slow down tomorrow.
But the day was not just plain sailing. They had to scale a huge brow that took them 150 metres up. At least they were rewarded with a great view of mountains on both sides. To the right they have Thiel Mountains some 100km +. That is were there is a fuel depot for the South Pole flight, and as close to any known place as they will come during their march. On the other side there are several mountains on the other side of the Foundation Ice Stream. But it is probably just the Patuxent Range that is visible and getting smaller.
Greetings: Mads is missing Benedikte and the boys and the daily call to mamsen (mom).

Photo: This is from Wednesday and one of the Ice formations thay passed.
