They don’t believe that. They actually he must be pretty close, cause today they got a celebration and another 40+!!!
Is Santa down there after all? Are the Finns and the world wrong? They have a hunch he is real close. They look at Morten from time to time, by he was not particularly busy last night, so they keep looking.
But apart from the whole trip being a huge present, they believe their bodies get presents every day. Tired yes. But no injury, no total fatigue, no blisters, no nothing! – Santa must be close…
The Christmas meal was great. Or, it was great again. They feel they have been living on an X’mas many all the way, so it was just minor adjustments today.
The day was good, no sastrugi, hardly any wind and the glide pretty good. Not like yesterday, but still a surprise. It all meant 41,6 kilometre before diving into the tents to start their first (and last?) Christmas Eve in Antarctica.
Now hey are staring at the horizon. 73,5 km left. Excitement is building. 2 more days with mo mistakes and no bullshit and they are there. Tomorrow evening when they go for the Pole we will give as many updates as we can, so stay close to the internet.
