(ENGLISH BELOVE) Yessss!!!!

WEDNESDAY MORNING: IN THE AIR!!!
Yes! The plane left Punta Arenas and landed in much better conditions I Patriot Hills a few minutes after 02 at night.
They were very happy to see the plane actually land. We got the first hint from Børge Ousland who landed in Punta late Tuesday evening. He told us the plane was not on the tarmac.
They recon they will land in Punta between 7 and 8 in the morning local time, which means between 11 and 12 our time.- They’ll probably fire up their cell, phones an hour or so after that.
All you who did not send them greetings may bomb them now!!!
The last day was another big smile. They invited the Scottish / British South Pole duo Gavin and Adam over for a big bacon breakfast. That was so successful it transformed automatically into a lunch.
After lunch they went to the canteen tent to re arrange the flags. The Union Jack was much bigger than the Norwegian, so something had to be done…
Then it was time for a beauty nap to gear up for dinner. This time the 2 Finns were included and they could serve smoked salmon, entrecote with whiskey and Eiras Christmas cake. – As it turned out that was the farewell to Antarctica meal.
If all goes to plan the guys will return to Oslo 2. January and Christian on the 4th.
A last very big thank you goes to ALE for their huge effort and contribution. It has been great working with all of you.
